Excell Medical Management processes claims accurately and in a timely fashion using electronic submission and remission processes. We bill according to current ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS Codes. (A) We will begin managing your medical billing within 48 hours of contracting with Excell Medical Management.

(Q) Who does Excell Medical Management manage medical billing for?

(A) Excell Medical Management provides services to all healthcare providers.
This includes specialty physician groups, primary care practices, laboratories and physical therapy facilities. We process Medicare, Medicaid, Self-Pay and Private Health Insurance Claims.

(Q) Is Excell Medical Management limited to filing claims with only certain insurance carriers?

(A) No. We file electronic and paper claims with all known carriers nationwide.

(Q) Does Excell Medical Management process only electronic claims?

(A) No. Until the HIPAA regulations take effect Excell Medical Management will continue to handle paper claims filing.

(Q) What information does Excell Medical Management need from me to begin managing my medical billing?

(A) Excell Medical Management requires the Superbill, the Patient Information Sheet, tax ID number, provider numbers, fee schedule and copies of the patient insurance cards in order to electronically file a complete insurance claim.

(A) Excell Medical Management has strict on-site security procedures that are followed. During the electronic transmission of all data, Excell Medical Management uses the latest high-quality encryption software to ensure total privacy of all patient and practice information. We never divulge any information to a third-party, without consent of the provider.
